Building a Legacy of Innovation and Excellence
Hathaway Advanced Materials, an American company, strategically operates in Ohio (USA) and Ontario (Canada). Specializing in engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, we offer a comprehensive range of standard polysilazane resins. These versatile products serve as replacements for most commercially available options. As a US-based manufacturer of polysilazanes, we enable our customers to pursue applications for government, military, and aerospace contracts.

Our Expertise and Heritage
Founded by the original inventors of the first commercial polysilazane resins production, KiON® polysilazanes, and the patented KiON production process, Hathaway Advanced Materials embodies a legacy of innovation and excellence. Our technical team continuously refines processes and applications, yielding a robust intellectual property portfolio. Utilizing Hathaway Research International's fully equipped lab in Ontario, Canada, we collaborate with customers to address specialized needs and foster innovation. Hathaway Research International boasts a comprehensive suite of analytical equipment and process apparatus, a 30 liter laboratory reactor complemented by a pilot-scale 60 liter capacity (15 L/day) reactor for the production of polysilazane resins.

Target Markets and Product Focus
Primary target markets include performance coatings, composites, and ceramic precursors. Performance coatings focus on corrosion prevention, moisture protection, anti-graffiti, and clear coats. Composites, notable for their thermal stability and strength, find application in aviation, aerospace, military, maritime, and transportation. Ceramic precursors are used in turbine blades, rocket nozzles, and wear-resistant surfaces, with emerging applications in 3-D printing, catalyst carriers, battery electrodes, and ballistic projectiles.
